CHARM HARNESS AND BOOT – The Place for Customer Service and Selection

Written By Christine M. Irvin

Charm Harness and Boot is your one-stop shop destination for everything related to work clothes for the whole family as well as shoes and boots. With about 8200 square feet of store space and over 18,000 pairs of shoes and boots, it’s no wonder customers come from miles around to take advantage of the huge selection of merchandise in the store.

Even though their inventory is huge, and their store is large, the owners of Charm Harness and Boot pride themselves on their “small store atmosphere”. They take customer service seriously, as they put it, “to the highest level” by insuring the buyer finds what they want. This is evident the moment you walk in the door where you will soon be greeted by a store representative who can help you navigate your way through the various store sections.

But the store associates, of which there are eight full-time and three part-time employees, won’t stop there. If you find something you like, they’ll do their best to find a style and a fit that works for you. If they don’t have what you want, they will special-order it for you. They also accept mail-order items.

Charm Harness and Boot has a huge selection of shoes and boots in top quality name brands like Red-Wing, Justin, Rocky, Timberland, Wolverine, Chippewa, Irish Setter, Thorogood, Danner, and Georgia Boot. Boots come in all types, from casual boots, to dress boots, to work boots that feature safety toes. A large variety of Western and dress boots are also available, from popular brands such as Justin, Ariat, Tony Lama, Dan Post, Durango and Lucchese. Plus, the store offers a unique variation of high-end hunting and hiking boots including Italian-made Kenetreck and Crispi, German-made Lowa and Haix, as well as hiking boots made by Keen, Merrell, Vasque, Salomon, Columbia and Brooks. And they also has a shoe repair and re-soling service to handle all your footwear needs.

They carry a full line of work and casual apparel for the whole family, built for quality and style with name brands like Under Armor, Carhartt’s, Columbia, The North Face, Stormy Kromer, Stetson and Smartwool. Big & Tall sizes are available for most items in men’s wear.

Even though they sell lots of clothes for men, their sales now include a large percentage of clothing and foot wear for women. They carry popular items like The North Face apparel, Bom Footwear, Ugg boots and Vibram FiveFingers, the quirky-looking footwear with individual toes.

Charm Harness and Boot also has a line of equestrian products. They sell quality products for horses, from saddles and harnesses to bridles and bits. If you need any care products for your horses, you can find them as well. Their inventory includes wormers, as well as care products such as shampoos and detanglers to make your horses shine in competitions.

Kids will enjoy coming to the store as they sell scale model toys of farm equipment made by John Deere.

Customers come to Charm Harness and Boot for the huge selection of merchandise, but they keep coming back for the customer service. The employees at Charm Harness and Boot will do everything they can to give you the best deal and to treat you “fair and square”.

If you have any questions about the type of merchandise or the brands they carry, call (330)-893-0402 and ask to speak to Allen. He can take care of all your needs.
