Starting at 9:00 a.m. and ending at 5:00 p.m. Sale is run by donated labor and is solely for the benefit of four Amish parochial schools that fund without state or tax money. Breakfast served at 7:00 a.m. and lunch stand available with BBQ chicken.

June 21, 2014 Sugarcreek Firemens Festival
The Firemens Festival is a dont-miss event! Festival activities include: an auction (bid on tons of items including cheese and trail, lawn furniture etc.), a petting zoo from The Farm at Walnut Creek, a cornhole tournament, lots of food, Water Wars (area fire departments work to move an empty barrel over their opponents line), a parade of local fire trucks, and more!

August 12, 2014 Sugarcreek Business Association Auction
Dinner starting at 5:00 pm and Auction at 6:00 pm. Bargains can be found here as many of the SBAs 150 members come together to donate for a good cause. As a non-for-profit organization, the SBA puts its proceeds back into putting on programming for visitors and the community, like the Fabulous 50s Fling and bringing Santa Claus to town for breakfast with the young ones. September 26 & 27, 2014 Ohio Swiss Festival
The Ohio Swiss Festival began in 1953 as a way to help the Ohio Swiss Cheese Association, based in Sugarcreek, to sell its excess cheese and to celebrate the Sugarcreek areas Swiss Heritage. Today it continues to be celebrated on the fourth weekend after Labor Day. Friday & Saturday provide two full days of entertainment and events such as costume and yodeling contests, the Steinstossen (throwing of the stone), the Swiss Cheese Chase 5k, and a kiddie and grand parade!
October 10 & 11, 2014 Fabulous Fall Garage Sales
Follow the signs and pick up a map at one of the many garage sales going on throughout the community and visit the Swiss Village Corridor for bargains and buys from our friendly retailers. Maps are also available at most businesses.
November 28 & 29, 2014 Christmas in the Village
A Christmas candle lighting service starts the activities, the Christmas story is read, an honorary candle-lighter is recognized, and at the flip of the switch, downtown Sugarcreek comes to life with beautiful tree and light displays and strolling carolers. Enjoy free songbooks, hot chocolate, pastries and gifts, and start your Christmas shoppingour stores will keep the doors open for you.

Located at the Tuscarawas County Fairgrounds, 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Free admission and parking. The Forest Heritage Festival is a family-friendly event featuring delicious, homemade foods and fun activities for children and adults. The festival educates the public about forest conservation and wood products while raising money for Akron Children’s Hospital.
